Current Awareness Service

Library members are regularly informed about the recent acquisitions in the library. A list of "NEW ARRIVALS" is sent to the library users' weekly emailers SWAG and Week Ahead.

A useful drive was a daily emailer service, including news stories from daily newspapers with URLs from the publisher page including one self-help article and key takeaways from the selected book by the librarian, christened as “Lunch Break Bytes.”

Inter Library Loan Service

Materials that are not held by the library might be borrowed temporarily from other libraries on an inter-library loan basis. To avail of this facility, users need to submit their demands to the library staff or email at library@fiib.edu.in

Photocopying / Printing Service

Photocopying and printing facility is available at the library. Users can get the photocopy of required information from reference materials (like reference books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, journals and magazines etc.).

Orientation and Tutorial Sessions

The orientation and information programme at the library expands the library's role in ensuring that users make the best use of library resources. The programme is intended to teach faculty, students, and staff how to locate printed and electronic knowledge resources to meet their information needs. This service is available both individually and in groups.

The Federated search

Library website  (Fiib.Refread.com) works as a search engine for print books, e-books,  case studies, e-databases and institutional repositories. It is a single sign-on login base.
